• Provide direct technical and sales support via calls to Veterinary Clinics, Integrators, Producers, and Veterinarians for autogenous vaccines sales • Build relationships and interact on a routine basis with Integrators, Veterinarians, and other decision makers in swine vaccines • Provide input for diagnostics reports, isolate selections for Custom Made Vaccines (CMV), vaccination programs • Provide suggestions for literature/brochures, communication tools

Key Responsibilities:

  1.  

Involved in planning, design, and execution of full development strategies for swine autogenous vaccines

  1.  

Provide technical support to veterinarians and producers in collaboration with the Account Managers regarding clinical cases, diagnostics, selection of isolates, and appropriate use of autogenous biologicals.

  1.  

Attend professional organization, key veterinary meetings, tradeshows and exhibits to strengthen expertise and network.

  1.  

Foster strong working relationships with key opinion leaders, universities, associations, and industry organizations.

  1.  

Direct sales contact with clients. Territory/Region defined by assigned clients

  1.  

The incumbent will positively interface with industry decision-makers, influencers, key academic and scientific leaders in the industry to build company reputation.

Review diagnostic database history, diagnostic results, and laboratory submissions

  1.  

Assist in organizing or being directly involved in commercial or R&D field trials

  1.  

Participate in SBU conference calls and on-site meetings and staff meetings when directed

The incumbent interacts with all company departments, as well as designated customers and vendors

  • 10 years’ sales, professional/technical services, and or customer influence experience
  • Experience in the animal health and/or pharmaceutical industry

 

Education

  • DVM, or extensive experience selling vaccines to swine industry

 

 

 

Technical

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Proficient in SalesForce CRM
  • Advanced level of skill on Mac and PC platforms in Adobe CC and Microsoft Office respectively
  • Capability to analyze data, design, organize, and execute trails using scientific approach
  • Proficient in Word Press, Salesforce, and/or HTML
  • Knowledge of video editing and HTML
